Katherine chats with Fabián Alvarado, Pablo Quesada and Fernanda Bustamante, journalists from Radio Aserrí “La Potente.” At the beginning of February, their community sprang into the headlines of Costa Rica’s national media when an accusation of racism against a teacher from the Ministry of Public Education sparked controversy nationwide. How did local journalists decide how to approach this?
