The Latin American Solutions Journalism Fund (read more about us here) is opening its fourth call for journalism production fellowships for all those already registered with the Fund. From Aug. 1, 2025, until Aug. 18, at 11:59 p.m. CST, proposals for stories on responses to biodiversity loss in Latin America can be submitted through this form: sala506.com/biodiversidad.
This call, supported by the Earth Journalism Network and its Biodiversity Media Initiative, seeks to support stories on nature-based responses to this crisis.
The Fund will award up to 10 fellowships of $500 each, in addition to training and mentoring during the reporting process. The names of the selected journalists will be published on Aug. 31. All fellowship activities will take place in September and October, with final stories published in November 2025.
