At El Colectivo 506, we’re proud to kick off our second year of publication with an edition dedicated to sharing information and resources that can make a difference. For “Tools for Change,” our January 2022 edition, we are joining forces with our fellow micro, small and medium business owners around the country to explore the various tools available for entrepreneurs in Costa Rica.

We’ll be looking at business certifications, training programs, microcredits and loans, and the country’s Development Bank. Of all these offerings, which are making the biggest difference for businesses? What are the glitches or obstacles that keep small businesses—especially in rural areas—from using these resources? What could be done in 2022 to connect more entrepreneurs with the tools they need?

Thanks to the support of sponsor Travel with Ann Experiential, we will also be sharing plenty of information for travelers this month: we’ll be throwing a spotlight on various small businesses of interest to travelers, and our Travel Thursdays will share tips and reflections on how travelers can make the biggest impact on small businesses when they visit Costa Rica.

Thoughts? Ideas? Contact us at [email protected], or via WhatsApp at 8506-1506. As always, we’d love to hear from you!
